India has a fast growing education sector. Besides the classroom courses, there are correspondence courses available for students. Usually, correspondence courses are opted for by individuals who wish to pursue studies while working or who cannot afford the classroom courses or the ones who wish to pursue other interests alongside with studies. Correspondence Course: How does it happen?

The   admission criteria for different correspondence courses in India vary as per the course and Universities. For some Universities, students have to sit for entrance test like for regular courses. A correspondence course is nowhere inferior to a regular course, but built for various convenience and obvious reasons. Once enrolled in the University/College, you will get the course material in standard book format .Examinations would be scheduled as per the course requirement (semester wise or yearly) and you have to make regular assignment submissions in between.  There would be classes during the weekend for some of the courses, where you can interact with the fellow mates and faculty. At the end of the successful completion of the course, you will be granted degree diploma certificate etc.
